I am a fortunate human. Tonight, we hosted the first book party for the annual, and the readings were so wonderful. I cried many times. The writers are heartbreakingly good, and I feel so honored and humbled to be the presence of such brilliant, wonderful humans.
I also found out my family was there, but I didn’t know it. I was wonderful to talk to them afterward. They loved the evening too. If you were able to come, thank you. If you weren’t, I hope you will try to make another one. These writers are phenomenal. Their work makes life more beautiful, and you can’t ask for more than that.
I thought I would just share a quote tonight because, while I am not nearly so powerful and brilliant at Margaret Fuller, I do get to work with a circle of brilliant writers and thinkers.
