Today, we drove about an hour north to buy some local honey direct from a beautiful farm. I met a farmer who said to me, “You know, chickens are really highly intelligent. People think I’m crazy, but it’s only because they don’t have chickens.”
I smiled and nodded so big.
“Or pay attention,” I added.
She agreed wholeheartedly.
