Day 338 of 365
I haven’t done a Ruby update in a bit, so I wanted to let everyone know how my most difficult and endearing chicken is doing.
She’s doing great!
I found her today dust bathing in the flower barrel, nearly fully immersed and completely living her best life on a beautiful spring day. It was fantastic to see.
She’s still running around the driveway and garage and laying eggs in her dog crate and coming and going as she pleases and guarding the door when I come outside to make sure she gets first dibs on anything I might have in my hands. She spends her days busying herself foraging now that the snow has melted, and sometimes, I even catch her flirting with Dvorak.
Yeah, she’s pretty much just living the chicken dream right now.
