This is a photo I found of our first flock. They were all Rhode Island Reds, and I could only tell them apart once I learned their personalities. That was nearly nine years ago now. There is only one girl left, Lucy.

It’s been a tough day, so I just have a chicken quote to share that is fitting right now…
