I am weary tonight, so I will just share this quote from Thoreau in honor of the rain that finally came today! Finally!
“A single gentle rain makes the grass many shades greener. So our prospects brighten on the influx of better thoughts. We should be blessed if we lived in the present always, and took advantage of every accident that befell us.”
I am terrible at living in the present, but today, when it rained, I did go outside and stand in it. It felt so good.
