She is absolutely a treasure for her kindness, her view of the world, and her deep understanding of animals. Recently, her book What the Chicken Knows was released world wide. In it, she shares research and powerful stories about the intelligence and personalities of chickens. She challenges misconceptions the general public often has about chickens and emphasizes the wonder of these magnificent birds.
