Day 39 of 365

It has been nearly 40 days of this year-long project, and I have been so moved by the kindness and support. The stats on our Farmer-ish site have nearly tripled, and we have more blog followers than we have ever had before. We also have had an increase in Patreon support, which means the world to me, as it means our journal gets to keep going, and I am forever trying to find creative ways to pay our writers more.

This progress is really hopeful, but the best news is that our numbers are high enough that Farmer-ish may be able to garner support from a couple of sponsors I believe in and would be proud to work with. But, of course, to make this possible, we must keep growing. And growing. And growing.

So I am running a little contest/giveaway. Truly, my favorite thing to do is give people good gifts. I pride myself in this, in fact, and I believe I have found a fantastic gift for my first “please follow my blog” giveaway.

The contest will run for 1 week and will close Friday night, June 24, at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. The following morning, I will hold a drawing from the bag and select one winner from a slip of paper. It’s old-fashioned, but I am going to host a Facebook live event to announce the winner. *The winner must reside in the United States and be 18 or over.
